Mililani Mauka was designed to be a family-friendly neighborhood with many parks, shops, restaurants, and walking/jogging paths. The subdivision is newer than Mililani Town and features executive-style 3B/2BA homes with about 1,700 square feet of living space. However, the lot sizes are smaller, typically about 5,000 square feet. Although the topology is relatively level, most homes have some mountain or ocean views from the second floor. The proximity of Mililani Mauka to Wheeler Army Air Field and Schofield Barracks has made Mililani Mauka popular with investors looking to purchaes properties to rent to military officers.
